Welcome to the cheap broadband page, everyone wants cheap
broadband but it can be hard to find as there are so many
broadband providers. There are lots of cheap deals available
though so it really pays to shop around, you can even
get free broadband with some providers but this generally
involves using some other service that you have to pay
for.
When looking for cheap broadband there are a few
things to look for as you may find a deal which looks
amazing but has limits, the two main limits are the
actual speed of the broadband connection and a download
limit that providers often impose so that you cannot
download allot. Both of these limits are not important
if you are only a light Internet user, if you simply
view web pages and send the odd email then a slower
broadband connection will be fine. The slowest broadband
connection that we would recommend is 512k as this
is fast enough for web browsing but not that good
for downloading, the really cheap broadband packages
are usually 512k but there are some that are slower
so look out for those.
If however you download allot of use the broadband connection
allot then you will want a broadband provider that offers
a fast broadband connection and no download limit so you have
to check for these limits before you sign up to a broadband
provider. There are lots of cheap deals available that have
download limits and slower connection speeds so if you want
a really cheap deal you may have to accept this, some broadband
providers also offer half price or cheaper monthly payments
for the first few months so you can also save money that way.
